For our area, I was upset when it was removed, and we can still use it. I don’t work on a single property, regardless of size, in a several county area, with a deer population issue. Most of my properties are also within a few counties that have had population explosions within the last two decades.
However, it’s not going to be a good strategy in other areas. I’ve been to properties in central and eastern AL that need few deer killed annually. It’s going to come down to cooperatives and like minded folks managing their own deer.

I’ve also talked to others hunting that property and seeing tons of does Call me skeptical Not saying there are pockets where too many are being killed maybe, but my personal expirience is different. Your mileage may vary.

Didn't have one for extending the season into Feb in NA. That's what set up Chuckie's big lie to me , he told me there was no biological reason to extend the season in NA, it wasn't gonna happen, well we all know how that turned out.
