The ELs came in yesterday, they appear to be as advertised. Used them at dusk yesterday evening, bright, clear, focus fast, feel good in my hands. They won't really get a good workout until November. As thayerp81 stated, get a decent chest rig, will be better anyway.



I don’t have a need or I want for a chest rig. Most of my hunting is either in a ladder stand or shooting house. I keep my binoculars in my backpack, which goes with me everywhere.

I used to do that but decided to lighten my load. Got a bino harness with pouch for the rangefinder and a few other small items.

If it won't fit in the harness or my pockets I leave it at camp. I like it much better.
