Wait, people get refunds? You do when your company treats your commission (~50% of your income) as if it's a bonus and mandates a fixed withholding that you're not allowed to change. I've tweaked the withholdings on my salary so that I don't get a whole lot back, but still end up overpaying a little bit at the end of the year. This is what I do as well. Pay myself as an employee.
