Unconventional and incredible hunt Well we got it done yesterday with my buddy’s 7yo boy. It was raining and not letting up anytime soon so we setup in the vacant farmhouse and put out a jake and 2 hen decoys 30yds out the back. Heard 3 gobbles in the tree at thunder. Eventually a hen flew down about 300yds towards the back. Then the rest came down. They were not in any rush until I started yelping and the lead hen did not like it. The gobblers fired off a few times too. We watched them come around the pond and make our way to us. He held his composure and rolled both of them.
