Personal opinion -
If I could go back in time, I would tell 25 year old me to sake money, buy a decent pawn shop rifle in 308 or 270, put a kickass German scope on it, and save until I could buy Swarovski binoculars.
I have never regretted the money I spent on my Swarovski SLC binoculars, and would prefer not to go back.
