2 old cemeteries just outside the town of Gainesville ala are very cool. One is called Old Fellows I think. The one on the other side of town I can’t recall the name but it has a bunch of civil war graves and there use to be a cannon there supposedly gotten out of the tombigbee river nearby. Not sure on the hx of the cannon but it’s a cool story anyway. Not sure if the cannon is still there or not it’s been years prob 10 years since I last went to it.
