the sin issue has been dealt with already at calvary.

there are going to be sinners who will receive the hell fire
and there is going to be sinners in heaven.

the issue now is belief and unbelief.

I'm a saved sinner.

thank you Jesus Christ for what YOU done FOR ME.

I TRUST YOU.

in your king james Bible the blood is mentioned 447 times
I. your king james Bible sin is mentioned.............447 times

there is enough blood to cover every sin in the perfectly preserved Word of God as found in the king james Bible.

of course in the critical wescott and hort text bibles they took out the blood a bunch
because wescott and hort did not believe in the blood atonement.

heb 9:22 and almost all are by the law purged with blood and without the shedding of blood is no remission.

The book of Hosea is an interesting study in that Hosea had to go and Redeem Gomer. She had gone back to living in sin. I love how God went and redeemed us. His redemption is for always.

Absolutely they do and are saying the same thing?

I understood you to say that everybody that had been married twice was living in adultery with no exceptions. If I misunderstood I apologize I witnessed to a divorced guy last week that was worried about this, his wife wanted the divorce i tried to give him verses to study, He had already been wounded by a legalistic Christian that was more worried about pointing out someone's sin than rescuing their soul

If adultry was the reason for divorce the innocent one could remarry. The one who committed adultry can’t. That’s all pretty easy to understand. If you really want something to ponder on Jesus said if you even think about it you’ve committed adultry in your heart Matthew 5:28.

there are verses that deal with SERVICE or DICIPLESHIP.
but you not sinning is not what SAVES you.
that is lordship salvation.

Never read anything about any lordship salvation in there. I have read about some obedience stuff though.

I thought we all sinned??? Did I get that wrong and there are some perfect people out there? Do you think simple obedience to commands is a work?

I would still like some more comments on this. I like Jwalker's response. He's thinking more "outside the box" with his answer. Anyone else???

rom 4;5 but ti him that worked not but BELIEVETH on HIM that justified the ungodly his FAITH is counted for righteousness.
v6 even david also describe th the blessedness of the man unto whom God imputed righteousness WITHOUT WORKS.
v7 saying blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered
v8 blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not imputed sin.

all I'm saying is yes divorce and re marriage is sin but the sin issue was dealt with already we need to quit putting folks under the law by trusting in thier behavior instead of trusting in the savior.
we use the law to show people that they are sinners and the good news is that Christ has redeemed them from the curse of the law if they put thier faith in Him.

So are you saying there is no obedience to commands required?

Well its better to get your information from the bible and not what someone thinks. Jwalker is spot on with his answer. 2dogs gave you the correct short version. I will give you one to ponder on. Romans 1:28 said he gave them up to a reprobate mind. What does that mean. Can you be saved after that.

Thank you Mathews you are correct the law was fulfilled at Christ's death. Spilling that precious blood that takes away the sins of the world. As Paul said no longer the blood of animals but the blood of Christ
