Mrs. Irish and I have been travelling pretty steady since retirement so we've been pretty busy and when we're not travelling we been hanging out up here with our friends around the fire pit smokin' and jokin'. MotoAmerica Races on the Tiger 800 Three week European transatlantic cruise Week at the Beach Three week motorcycle trip out West to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona. Zion, Arches, Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, etc... on the Tiger 800 Two week historic car trip to Virginia to see Civil War battlefields, Skyline Drive, The Shenandoah Valley, Warm Springs, VA, Monticello, Colonial Williamsburg and Little Switzerland. Week at the Beach Motorcycle trip to Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky mix of road and dirt on the Tiger 800 First Pow Wow with the Tribe (Became a member this year.) Big Christmas beach trip with all the family Three week cruise from Miami to Los Angeles through the Panama Canal Chillin at the cabin right now, but... Headed to Apalachicola for a week or so on Monday and then... Headed back out west a week later in the Mazda CX-5 to go see the MotoGP races in Austin, Texas and then on to Fredericksburg and San Antonio and probably keep going west for a while after that. Not sure where we are going or when we are coming back this time. Probably come home when I get homesick for the cabin. I think Mrs. Irish could just travel full time. A few teaser pics from our Panama Canal Cruise a few weeks ago... I've been wanting to see the famous cliff divers of Acapulco since I was a kid... Puerto Vallarta is a pretty cool, if a little edgy. New market was very touching, thinking about all those teenage boys from VMI charging the Union lines. "VMI will be heard from today boys!"
