That cooling system is slick.
Would it be worth it to pipe raw water through the middle of the coolant reservoirs if the reservoirs run front to aft?
A 1” aluminum pipe that gathers raw water under the hull and drains out of the transom to suck heat from the coolant without ever touching the antifreeze.
If my writing doesn’t make sense, send me a PM and I’ll sketch it out. Makes sense to me but, you would need a good clean water flow, how good of water flow will you get being a “mud boat”, I see mud, trash etc. clogging up the entrance screen What Capehorn said. This thing will run in places where there is no water and in ponds just choked with aquatic vegetation. No sort of open cooling would work. These built in keel coolers handle the job fine. So the keel coolers work like a radiator, goes in one end comes out the other? So, in the port forward, crossover, then out starboard forward and let the outside ambient temperature cool down the coolant?
