Y’all posted a while back about a place in MS that had crazy good prices on atv/sxs. Where was it and what’s the name? Thanks.

I’ve shopped around several times lately. Depends on the make and model you’re looking at. Bessemer was good to me (Pinacle). Hamilton, Al gave me a deal on a Polaris years ago. Mountain motor sports has GREAT prices but tack on fees and piss you off. Bama buggies gave me a very good price on a 24 ranger a month or so ago. They were about out of them (24). Corinth is know for good prices, but I’d shop around imo.

Honda of Laurel has good pricing, too.
That said, I called Hall's in Malbis and they matched their price. The only extra I had to pay at Hall's was sales tax, since they're instate. Well worth it to pay that small amount rather than wasting half a day or more and a few hundred miles.

Call every dealer within a reasonable distance from you. You never know which one will have the best price.

Do not go to Corinth. Just saying.

They are great and they are one of the few that will email you their out the door price. Places like Hattiesburg cycles are just a bunch of shitheads and will not give you out the door pricing in writing . They will also give you the runaround when you get there. A salesman and a sales manager just about got the piss slapped out of them one day by my very large friend because of their games.

Southern Honda Powersports (?) in Chattanooga used to be really aggressive on pricing I think.

Benji,
Send me your phone number and I'll call you and share with you a "first hand knowledge" horror story about one of the dealers that has been mentioned in this thread. You don't want to go there, I promise you.
I just ain't real keen on publicly bashing someone on a public forum.
Plus, it's a little too long to type it all out.

Back in 2016 when I bought my Pioneer 700, I made the drive to Lake Hill in Corinth.
Guy in Tuscaloosa got within about $500, but I didn't spend that much in gas to haul it home.

I think there are tax benefits from buying across state lines as well.

Y’all posted a while back about a place in MS that had crazy good prices on atv/sxs. Where was it and what’s the name? Thanks. Try Troy in Troy at Ward's Power Sports. I found a couple great deals on what I wanted over in Tifton and Douglas Ga, Troy at Ward's matched the price. Ward's was still better priced than anything close in Alabama. They also allowed me to drive whatever machine I wanted to try, they had them out, setup and ready to roll when my wife and I got there.

If you do buy from out of state, don’t be surprised if in a year or two you get a property tax notice from the AL Dept of Revenue for storing your new asset in this state. Ironically, this tax rate is identical to the state sales tax rate you would’ve paid for a purchase in Alabama.

I bought my last 4 wheeler in MS and about six months later got a bill from the AL Dept of Revenue. The MS dealer told me by law, they have to notify the state you reside in of the purchase so don’t plan on saving any sales tax by buying out of state.

I know a guy that bought a new Honda Rubicon 500 in 2005, out of state. A year later he gets the tax notice from Alabama. He chunked it in the garbage and he never heard another word about it.
