Any bluegrass pickers on here around central Alabama that would like to get together and jam?

Nephew takes lessons from Allen. He taught all the guys from Mountain Grass Unit. They are good good. Most of them went on to Berklee school of music and are traveling the country making a living. https://www.mountaingrassunit.com

I love bluegrass! Have y’all seen Molly Tuttle’s cover of White Rabbit? It’s awesome! Wish I could post videos so you could see it.

Search Alabama Bluegrass Music Association on Facebook. They have regular get togethers from what I can tell. I found the group because I was looking for a banjo teacher. I've played the guitar since I was 14. I'm 51 now. The banjo is fun, but it's kicking my tail.

I have a good friend who gets togeter with some folks and pick every friday night. Mostly gospel bluegrass. 8-10 of them i guess. I went to it once. It was pretty good. Close to Blountsville

I appreciate the heads up about the bluegrass association. Haven’t heard of it before. I played banjo from the time I was 5-13 I’m 29 now and wish I had never put it down for guitar. But I’m fixing to get it back out and going again!
