Call me when they're spending less that they're bringing in. Last time that happened was over a quarter century ago. And it was brief. Soo..1999…🧐 The last time there was a balanced budget (and a surplus) was fiscal year 2001 under Pres. Bill Clinton and it was the first time in 29 years at that time. . And the CBO had to change the way the did their accounting to make it appear like it was balanced.
