I could not possibly count the number of deer, pigs, and assorted other critters my wife and I have dropped with a .270 or a 7mm-08, but it's a bunch. Has to be over 2 dozen with just those two calibers. To date, we have owned at least 8 rifles in one or the other, and I know where all of those rifles live today. Great rifles are like great kids. You always know where they are if you helped train them.
