I've been carrying a Browning Cynergy 3.5 12 ga for over 20 years. I guess that gun has close to 250 under it's belt from Alabama and from out of state hunting. It's really been the perfect turkey gun for me for a long time. I’d say that’s a tried and true killer. My go to is a Benelli M-1 Super 90 with a 28 inch barrel. (12 gauge, 3 inch)
