A Bolt micro in 243.
20 rounds of federal vital shock 95 grain ballistic tip
80 rounds of Winchester 95 grain silver tip

Stock has some scratches but gun is a shooter. Not a safe queen at all though

Those Winchester’s are 40.00 a box at least x 4.
It all adds up. One of the best all around rifles there is.

That’s gotta be a micro medallion the micro hunter is plain wood. All mine are anyway. Medallions have the dark gloss wood.
Correct?

Correct?

I always thought the medallions had the fancy engravings. This one doesn’t have it but yeah, the stock is gloss and I don’t think it’s ever been refinished. In fact I know it hasn’t been.

It would have Medallion and the fancy engravings on the receiver and the darker rosewood tips on the stock if it was Medallion model. The Hunter models had a gloss stock also but matte bluing.

I wouldn’t call this one a matte finish but I don’t think it’s a medallion. Kinda has a gloss finish

👍 that’s right.
Every hunter model I’ve seen was just brown wood.
I really like the dark gloss wood.
Good looking rifle.

Micro Medialion is high gloss stock, fancy engraving on the receiver, a different kind of bolt. Also says Medialion on the receiver. That’s a beautiful gun notwithstanding.

Medallions have the engravings on the floor plate also . Earlier A- Bolt Hunters have more shiny wood than the later A-Bolt IIs. It's not a Medallion . I think it's an early Hunter model. Also it may look shiner than it really is because of light and flash .

Yeah. I consider it shiny, like old school 80s. lol.
My buddy who I hunted with in the 80s had one that I always wanted. He passed away a while back. I’d like to ask his wife about it but just don’t feel right about doing it
