If you saw that post and your take away from was “they are making jokes about writing tickets” and felt anything but amusement, then you’ve probably had several interactions where you received citations and deserved them. Maybe trying hunting and fishing within the letter and spirit of the regulations. The rest of us just chuckled and moved on.

If you saw that post and your take away from was “they are making jokes about writing tickets” and felt anything but amusement, then you’ve probably had several interactions where you received citations and deserved them. Maybe trying hunting and fishing within the letter and spirit of the regulations. The rest of us just chuckled and moved on. I have never gotten a hunting or fishing ticket, or even a warning. I tend to be a "rule follower" in general. I explained above what my "problem" with them is

Y'all need to lighten up. If Trophy Bucks of Alabama had created and posted that, it would be funny. There are approximately 1.2 million words in the english language, but I'm not sure I could string enough of them together to accurately convey how much I hate them. They are smug, condescending jackasses. They also routinely violate the 1st Amendment by, as an official government agency page, limiting who can comment on/interact with their posts. They have also held live Q&A's in the past, but blocked and deleted any comments from the general public that were even remotely critical of them or questioned their decisions. The routinely violate the 2nd and 4th Amendments too, all based on state "law"...

It's not an "official" government page, it's FACEBOOK page used by the state. No ones rights are being violated, the constitution doesn't apply to social media and it's a JOKE lol. Pages I moderate on FB have specific settings to where
specific words cannot be used to prevent spam and unwanted comments, no ones rights are being violated and to be a member specific requirements are must be met. You are confusing Facebook "groups" vs Facebook "pages". The USSC has ruled that a social media page run by a government agency IS considered to be an "official" government page, and cannot block/censor the public from commenting on it. "The First Amendment, which protects freedom of speech, generally prohibits government employees from censoring public comments or blocking access to a social media account that offers official communications." Weird, call the FB police I guess if ya feel that way about it.. That photo's no different that memes posted on here. I would think FB would prevent them from that if that's the case but, it is FB. I know they have FB jail for civilians lol. I do know FB can moderate content without breaking the 1st ammendment

I never said it was. The issue is that for the last couple of years, they have have blocked the general public from being able to comment on posts and have completely blocked some people from being able to see the page at all. That is what the the USSC determined was a constitutional violation, because they are using that page as an official form of communication for a government agency.

I've only one ticket.
Cliff wrote me a ticket on the NF a few years back. I didn't have the paper copy of my harvest log (or a pen) on my person. Both were in my truck. Cost me $100 and persuaded my to go ahead and put the OA app on my phone. I felt like that was akin to getting a speeding ticket for doing 56 in a 55 but technically I was not in 100% compliance.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.
