I just got done with round two of that close to the eye stuff. An ocular surgeon, with a plastic surgery residency, removed a basal cell cancer that was in the orbital eye socket area. Cut to the bone and laid a big flap back. Then a dermatology surgeon kept cutting and sending to lab, until they were sure it was all gone. Ocular/plastic surgeon sewed me up, woke me up and sent me home...that was in July. Well a cyst formed in that area about 6 weeks ago. I kept hoping it would go down, but not to be so. I had to go back to Bham (90 miles on Tuesday) and he laid me back and cut that open and cleaned it out and sewed it up. Said he hopes it doesn't return. He sort of had this mad scientist look when he first saw the cyst. Rubbed his hands together and said that now he has to know what is in it. I can't hardly see out that eye from swelling and the stitches keep poking me in the eye, if I look down and happen to blink.

Who were your surgeons if you don’t mind sharing?
