Was just surfing the web and found these portable tankless propane water heaters. Do know ANYTHING about them. On sale for $145. It seems like a pretty decent price. Anyone ever used one? I was surprised that they were this cheap. Website

I ordered one similar off amazon, plumbed it to shower and kitchen sink at club. So far it has worked good, mine ignites off a water flow sensor.

I put a couple of them in RVs and they work good. One was electric and one was propane. Helpful hint: read instructions. I didn't and I ended swapping out the first one because I couldn't get it to work. That's when I learned the water has to be flowing to activate the heater.

An article I read claimed regular cleaning/ maintenance was needed unlike a regular water heater. Anyone had one over five years with no problems they didn't clean?

Ton of them on amazon. Ive picked one up for about $82 (with coupon) but have not tried it yet. Free returns on amazon.
