Yep. I will take every spypoint. I have zero issues out of the 14 I am running. Most issues with all cell cameras are crappy cheap batteries or SD cards are no properly formatted. Or. Just simply lack of electronic knowledge on how to set your settings properly. Agreed. Running Moultrie’s eliminates the need for both. External 12v batteries and no internal memory.

I have tried them all. I've had the best results from Moultrie Edge. As someone above posted, I threw 3, 2 week old Spy points in my pond. Worst cameras I have ever owned.

My experience with spypoint was the exact same. They were the first cell camera that I ever used and by far the worst. The best ones I've tried so far is wise eye.

Spypoints suck.
I run Tactacams. Heard good things about the Spartans but the price point on them turns me off.

Bought 2 Tactacam pros. Internal sim card (cell contact card). They will auto select either ATT or Verizon, which ever has a better signal. Was very happy with them this year after my old tactacams that were Verizon only struggled to send pics because the Verizon signal dropped in the area I was hunting (not cameras fault).
I kept both old tactacam and will run them as just game cams. They take good pics.
I stopped using spycams several years ago because mine would not update. Sent them back and for a little $ they sent me 2 newer models. I ebayed them, and bought tactacams. I don't know anything about other cameras, but I am happy with the tactacam pros.
I think there are newer cameras that allow you to turn the camera remotely. I am surprised that no one has put ~4 cameras in one so you can get 360 view.

I run 15 Spartans and the only problem with them is having to buy 180 batteries at $3/each. Anyone got a lead on some energizer lithium ultimates for cheap?

I got tired of replacing Tactacam batteries (12 at one time) and went to a 12 volt auxiliary system. Now they last for an entire year with what I need them to do.

I've just been running a $20 feeder battery instead of replacing batteries every week

Yes...I run my Spartan on a 6v feeder battery.

Goto Herd360 and when they get the solar panels back in stock buy the 10 pack. Yes it's expensive but worth every penny. They will work any camera model.

Browning sells trail cam solar panels as well. I don’t know if they are compatible with other cameras or not

For what my opinion is worth and it seems it's not much here these days. I run Spartan, Moultrie, and Tactacam. A lot of them. They all have issues. If you're running less than 5, it doesn't matter which you choose. Moultrie and Tactacam have the best price on data when you start running a lot of them. Spartan takes a degree in accounting to figure out how not to go broke with their plans. Spartans will just quit working at times and you have to do a manual firmware update. Switch has to be cleaned on some. Just little tricks you learn over the years. I usually loose 2-3 Spartans a year now but some of them are 8 years old.
Few tricks that might help. Have 1 SD card that is for THAT camera. And they are eventually going to get corrupted- and who knows why. Format the card IN THE camera every time you turn it on. It makes a ton of difference. Use Lithium batteries, Expensive, yes, worth it yes. Get the Herd360 solar pack. They will run any model camera. I leave my cameras out year around taking pictures. I get a lot longer life from them. My theory is when you turn them off the guts of the cameras start breaking down from nonuse. Like a boat that's been sitting all winter- they seems to break just sitting. Clean the gaskets and seals when you change batteries. A little grease or Vaseline will keep the dust out around the seals as well.

Thank you for the tips.
Since you run a lot, do you have information indicating I should divert from using Browning? Only issue I have now is trouble getting signal in low strength areas. I don’t even know any different, so maybe I’m missing out vs other brands
