Does anyone know who I should rent from for a side job Im trying to do for my neighbor? North end of Cullman County to be exact. I'm having a hard time seeing anything on the internet and the people I know don't like to see guys like me doing side work cause they want to control that market in that area. I'm having a hard time getting materials. I work for a large development company any you would think I have connections but like I said, they don't want to see little guys make money cause that's work they could have gotten.

I’ve rented mini ex and skid steers from Arab Rentals. I don’t know for sure if they have a full size hoe but I always had good experience dealing with them. I’ve bought all kinds of stuff from Kilpatrick no problems.Hope this helps.

I mean…you can do any rental place around here man, green mountain or united rental here in gville…not a hundred percent sure..but you may have to have a credit card or get your credit ran to rent big equipment..dont know why..but some places do it…there is also a group..maybe its on facebook called equipment share..i think..cant remember..as for material…ca langford on warrenton road..🤷🏻…man i cant count the loads of rock ive hauled outa that place..man they will haul rock for you…or load it in the back of an f150…i aint ever heard of the issues your havin

If you are renting as an individual you might have a hard time finding someone to rent to you due the the insurance requirements most rental companies require for the larger pieces of equipment you are looking for.

Green Mtn will require insurance.
Langford quarry in Warrenton will probably be the best rock prices for you. A couple of chert pits just a few miles south of your work site.

Be sure you factor in the charge to drop it off, pick it up, unless you have a something to move it.
You also have to refill it or they will over charge you for fuel.

Side work gets real expensive when something goes wrong and you’re not insured to cover it.
As mentioned above, you can rent anything you want thru United if you’ve got an account with them.
