I have mixed feelings about it, but it might be a good thing to take possession of a strip of land that has been being fought over for decades and create something positive and beneficial out of it. I am just not sure that "we" should be the ones to do it.

Well Gaza isn’t big enough for a decent airbase but our tax dollars have been poured into that place for years why not put our tax dollars to good use?

By them keeping the US (and Israel) out of Gaza he's forcing the other countries to do something. Its their problem and not ours and he's reminding them. Why the heck would we get that involved with that? Been warring since the beginning if time and will be as long as time exists. We rebuild that place at trillions of dollars so they can destroy it again? Why can’t folks understand that other than Israel, every person over there HATES America and its citizens and wakes up every day thinking of ways to destroy us.

His plan is to establish Palestinian communities in neighboring countries. Clear Gaza and build homes for Israelis. Palestinians would never be allowed to return to Gaza.
First big hurdle is what countries will take them? Nobody wants terrorists.
Second, Palestinians say they won't go!
Guessing we will have to pay someone to take them and house them.
Sounds like a great opportunity for someone who has a perfect 1 acre square property, easily identified with pins and has a nice ROW for visitors. Maybe call it a Fort or something. Maybe add a flag? Eventually have a wall surrounding this Palestinian re-homing location?
