i can tell you this, an AR-pistol is still a loud SOB with a suppressor. Sound reduction on autos is not as good, unless you get a suppressor with flow through technology. Also, shorter barrels can be loud. I changed suppressors on my M&P 10 in 308 and made a considerable difference in both sound and back flow. Which one did you use? Thinking about 1 for my AR10.
