I'm looking for some hay to cover grass seed on a newly worked yard.
Figured I'd ask here to see anyone had something that wasn't good for horses or cows
they wanted to get rid of. Looking for 15 bales.
I live in the Cullman area. Text is quickest way to get me
Thanks

If you can find some wheat straw go with that it spreads a whole lot better. I planted our yard last year and had to use hay and straw because I couldn’t find enough straw.

Straw is a lot easier but with hay you get the benefit of extra grass seed

Wheat straw. As said above. To many junk grass weeds in hay. A bale of wheat straw will spread pretty far.

Costal Bermuda square bales cover twice what wheat straw does. That’s what we mainly throw now.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
