On January 30th no less. Sitting in my ladder stand at daybreak yesterday morning and I thought I heard a distant gobble. Over the next 20 minutes I heard four different gobblers gobbling. Talk about fired up and not about deer!

My goal this year is to put GomerJr on a bird. He "75%'d" one in 2023...had a jake well within range but he couldn't get a shot.

Talk about fired up and not about deer! Sitting in the duck hole yesterday morning and he hit 3 times. A Jake sounded off a few minutes later My lab didn’t know what to think.

Nailed it. Absolutely gobbled out if you add the days they stole when they pushed the opener back a few days.

Heard a couple thunderheads while shooting ducks last week. More interesting was the hen cutting at him from the top of the hill. Both would gobble at EVERYTHING.
