I know a LOT of 60 plus hunters who have no idea how to log on and fill out the deer game check. Also, they aren't about to call and report.

CNC, that's one reason I don't think you can go by the current harvest numbers you've posted in the other thread. It's got to be WAY low.

If any of those 60 plus hunters duck or dove hunt, they have to fill out a Hip survey to be legal. They’re “forced” to at least fill it out, honestly or not appears to be the issue.
As much as people on here blame the DNCR, I believe the hunters are JUST as much to blame.
Everybody on here Seems to know people who are not following the rules, on purpose, or through no fault of their own.
WE need to do better too.

I do agree that game check is probably underestimating the real increase though.....Folks who aren't reporting are probably killing them at an even higher clip than those who are reporting
