Wintzells (your best bet for seafood near the airport) is just a few miles east of the airport
Other than that, the causeway between Mobile and Baldwin county has several seafood restaurants

Which airport? There are two now. Regional which is way out west Mobile. If you want seafood, it pains me to say this, skip the west Mobile Wintzells and go down Leroy Steven’s to Kraver’s. I have a lot of love for Wintzells but they aren’t what they were and the west Mobile location is generally more off the mark than on. The downtown location is still good. Also, not far from Kravers in west Mobile is Taste of Thai. If you enjoy SE Asian cuisine this place is your best pick. If you are balling and can manage leftovers I highly suggest an order of the crab fried rice and the crab curry and mix them together. If you are at the “International” airport it’s practically downtown. If you are that close and really want seafood head to the causeway. I prefer R&R, Ed’s shed(now in Spanish Fort) and Bluegill in that order. Bluegill and Felix’s are good but pricier and more bougie than they need to be. R&R has the best crawfish in the Mobile area and it is high season(as in the high right now) . What days are you looking at I can likely nake more recommendations?

Wasn't overly impressed with Ed's (just went 2 months ago) ifn i went across the bay i'd just go to Boudreaux's instead. If on the causeway i'd hit R&R most likely for soft shell Po'boy 😏

Kraver’s is your best bet less than 10 minutes from the airport. RnR if you go causeway.

But to me it was the best for that area for seafood. In saying that. I live ten miles from there and have eaten there twice. I’ve eaten at the oyster house 100 times. And drive the extra 20 miles.

I’m right off 65 at spring hill rd. Traffic was a booger on 65 and detoured through satsuma I think.

I’m just here for tonight. Traffic caught me on 65 so I’m about a hour behind. I’ll hit one of the places in a few minutes. Thanks for the info.

If you go to Kravers try the gumbo. Royal reds if you like boiled shrimp. Crab claws are decent.
