If you have a place with electricity running to it, but you have it turned off at the breaker for ~3 months will you get an electric bill?
How much would it be?
I am buying a place with a shed with electricity running to it. It also has a well. How much to have the electricity running if I don't use it for 3-4 months?

I think there is a $30-$50 monthly fee regardless of usage, just for having a working service.

I think there is a $30-$50 monthly fee regardless of usage, just for having a working service. Our billing does not but we are a different system than most. If you got an active account, using or not you have still have the "Fee's" for having a "live" meter.

With us is $35 or $45 stanard fee a month when using no power at all

Alabama Power’s minimum is $28.40

MY SHED IS ON A SEPERATE meter power is hardly ever used it cost me 15$ and some change for the service.

Every power supplier will be different. Check with the power supplier for the area
