I always use a green light before the morning hunt and after the evening hunt, i dont want to take a chance of an idiot poacher mistaking me for a deer especially in the afternoon after legal shooting light but before it gets completely dark. On the other hand i see these people on Youtube walking in turkey hunting using a light, that i would never do. I feel there less chance being mistaken for a turkey in the dark than a deer. I also primarily hunt private maybe i would consider it on public.
