I hunt public land so I'm typically going into the woods well before daylight and while I have my orange on, it's not visible. It's black dark when I come out so same thing. I do use a flashlight going in and coming out so I can been seen and not shot by some idiot who sees or hears something moving in the dark plus it's really thick in a lot of places I hunt so you definitely need to see.
