218pm Update - Here at US National Weather Service Mobile Alabama Office in West Mobile, our official measurement is 5.4 inches. This breaks the 1-day snowfall record for Mobile of 5 inches (set on January 24, 1881). The all-time snow event record for Mobile is 6 inches in 1895. Given it is heavily snowing, that record is in jeopardy. NWS Mobile
