Hopefully they will challenge these pre-emptive pardons and the legality of them will be set in stone and eliminate them once and for all. Absolutely, because if its not, all hell will break loose in America!

These will never stand up in court.
Trump needs to pardon his entire family on day one for ANYTHING that they may EVER do in the future to push this to court ASAP.

This kind of power sets a bad precedent that could become norm for all future Presidents that engage in criminal activity. It gives the King/President full authority to run a criminal enterprise with no worries for all involved because President has promised a preemptive pardon.
This needs to be challenged at Supreme Court. Pardons, no matter the party affiliation should not be allowed by presidents or governors. The president is the head of state, leader of the federal government, and Commander in Chief of the United States armed forces. Not the judicial branch. So Robert's and Barrett can F us over on the decision?

I know it's all corrupt political BS, but having served 30 years myself, why would an active duty 4 star general who is subject to the UCMJ ever require a pardon for anything. The statement he released on it just pisses me off more, so thankful to the president for looking out for his family. 13 Marine families at Abbey Gate that they never looked out for.

Preemptive pardons are guaranteed by the Constitution and was upheld by the Supreme Court (Ex Parte Garland (1866)). Previous Presidents who have used preemptive pardons include Gerald Ford (Richard Nixon 1974), the first George Bush (Iran-Contra affair 1992) and Jimmy Carter (Vietnam draft dodgers, 1977). Those granted preemptive pardons by Joe Biden will never be tried in a federal court.

That may happen today. Trump may pardon the entire US population just to prove the point. In fact, I would be likely to do just that. Everybody is off the hook for murdering Fauci in the future.

What a complete sham. Ignore them and proceed. The courts would have to decide.

Satan already has these people and most of them are close to death. It'll sort out. No point in getting upset if you're not willing to take care of it yourself. I'm glad I'm not likely to ever cross paths with Fauci. The time for that was decades before we knew of him.
The root cause of all this evil taking place in DC is voting for people who vote for taxes to fund it.

I don't think it would protect them from future crimes such as lying under oath.

On the bright side, this precedent is a Golden Ticket to Trumps incoming Team to move ahead with deep state house cleaning.

I’m not so sure these are constitutional because they haven’t been charged or convicted of any crime We may be finding out soon. Those pardons may be tested and Fauchi would be the one to start with. And Liz Cheney

The lawlessness is just shameful. Our country will never be as great as it once was until all these entreched traitors are purged.
