A great shooter once told me that you should spend 3+ times the amount of the gun on optics if you want a satisfactory set up. IMO he was spot on. Respectfully disagree. 500 buck scope will be sufficient for 99 percent of Alabama hunters. 500-750 offers exceptional glass. 750-1000 gets you alpha minus 1. Spending 3-4K on a hunting scope is a waste IMO.
