I bought one a few months back. It's a dang fine feeling and shooting gun. I planned to deer hunt with it, but I'm going to have to let the new wear off it before I subject it to dog hunting with it. I bought the Walnut stocked lightning model and its just to pretty to beat up like I know will happen. I should have probably bought a synthetic model and would now if they weren't so proud of them.

I had a new A5 12ga and liked it but I can only tell you about the old tried and true Sweet 16.

If it's anything like my 12ga a5 you'll love it.
There's a big sporting goods company in Virginia that got browning to custom make a new A5 in bottomland camo with a 24" barrel.
On 400 made i scored 1 before Christmas. It's called greentop outdoors

If it's for just a dove gun or quail , using it in a situation you can keep it nice , I'd buy a nice , true Belgian, older gun . It may be cheaper up front and already has collector value. Plus they're just cool

It's a heck of a bird gun. A true classic and about as dependable as anything ever made.

The new models are different system all together. They are built almost exactly like a Benelli.

My Dad let me start using his when i was 13, fifty years ago now, and a lot of expensive guns in the closet and it is still the best one in there. If you can find an original one from back in the day get it.

Old Belgian Sweet 16 here. It’s definitely shooter grade and not collector grade, but I love it. Every time I clean it I end up bleeding from the sharp edges, but who cares?

I don't know what collector grade is ,I know I'd be pleased to have it in mine. That's a very nice original , I'd rather have it than a brand new one . thumbup
