I usually bow hunt cold fronts beginning of season, opening weekend and Thanksgiving if the weather is right. I’ll go scout a little and walk the woods some until beginning of January. Once January hits, I usually hunt every weekend and take some time off to hunt when the stars align. This usually works out for me and leads to very little burnout.

Be glad you still at least have mature deer to hunt. I’m down to 2 2yr olds, some spikes and half our normal doe population.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
