My brother is In 5 yr old pines and has seen two bucks, I’m in a clearcut watching the grass sway and I’ve seen squat.

My brother is where it’s at, 5 yr old pines, he’s seen 3 bucks and several does chasing.
I’m in 2 yr old clearcut with no cover from the wind. Apparently they like short pines, 10-12’ tall.
He’s where my daughter and I saw a stud several mornings ago.

Me and youngest son are here in Monroe county. He is on a shooting house I killed a decent 8 point out of Friday afternoon. I’m slam on the other side of the property in another shooting. Windy as all get out down here.

My camera on this food plot has had dead batteries for about two weeks, so who knows if any deer have been using it lately. But, I don't have to climb any hills to get here. I can see the little food plot behind my house. But couldnt shoot that far anyway. In my muddy in wilcox - snowed briefly - prob just doe patrol. Wanted to take a lot out! Needed to get out - prob 36 and wind prob 15 mph

Anyone hunting today deserves to kill something ! Spent all morning putting out hay for the cattle . Full bellies make warm cows . Was glad to get in the house around 11 , started at 6:30.
