I don't know why anyone would shoot 140 grain bullets. Out past 300 yards I'd want a heavier bullet.... Why would you not want a heavier bullet? Anyone who answers otherwise is FOS.

Between 0-330 yards what did you accomplish? Nothing. That's the answer.

By your thinking , any caliber with a bullet weighing 140 gr or less and traveling 3,000 + at the muzzle is useless on Whitetails past 300 yards . Okey Dokey.
