Max Point Blank Range shooting 160 grain bullets would be just over 300 yards. A 140 is maybe 330 yards. Because it loses velocity and energy faster.
I don't know why anyone would shoot 140 grain bullets. Out past 300 yards I'd want a heavier bullet.... Why would you not want a heavier bullet? Anyone who answers otherwise is FOS.
Between 0-330 yards what did you accomplish? Nothing. That's the answer.
