Yep. Standard answer on mature pine stumps is 3 years to either disc through them or scrape over with a dozer.
You going to girdle or chemically treat the 17 year old pines? Triclopyr will get it done. Id planned to double girdle the pines Matt. Didnt realize it would take so long for the stumps to rot. Will probably just Mulch the pine stumps so i can get the plot established sooner. Excavating would prob cost more than id like to spend right now. Thanks for the info gents
