Oh, the irony….with the investors, and all…but y’all are taking their money, not sending it to them. My bad.

But wait…..what do they get for their investment in The Sanctuary?

I'm not buying it, Bill. Those high dollar commies you are dealing with don't make investments unless they are sure of getting a nice return. Face it, you aren't just supporting them, you are partners with them. And the kind of money you are talking about making with them goes straight to the CCP.

Meanwhile, I've gotten 6 messages from the QualyQyaly store on AliExpress reminding me that their rap jigs go back on sale at midnight tonight. I get the feeling that some kids are gonna starve if I don't complete this $32 order. smile

But seriously, the Chinese folks I've met are just wanting to make a living like the rest of us. Lottie Moon gave her life to share the Gospel with the Chinese people and many were converted. There are way more Christians in China now than in the USA. When I was in seminary, I was partnered with 2 Chinese students and we spent an afternoon going door to door and witnessing in one of the worst sections of New Orleans. We weren't very well received by some folks, but I enjoyed getting to know those guys. They didn't like the CCP anymore than we do, and they were no more to blame for it than I was for anything Biden did.

When you wind up finalizing your IP deal with the Chinese investors - how will you deal with your IP being incorporated into thousands of Chinese goods sold to benefit the communist party? Or do you have a mechanisms built in to handle this issue?

I have ordered a few things on Temu. Mainly small inexpensive items that I would normally order on Amazon but they are half the price than they are on Amazon. Only difference between Amazon and Temu is the shipping time. Takes several days with Temu vs Amazon. Basically just taking the middle man out of the ordering process and the result is half the price and longer shipping times.

Curious, would anyone buy a pressure washer from one of these sites over going to Harbor Freight?

You spent 40 for 20 dollars of junk

They use scam games to get you to spend money. Kinda like gambling mixed with video games. They send me a message that ive won free or deep discounted stuff as a prize. I pick the three free items then here comes the you gotta spend $20 to get the free stuff. The second time i done it, the free stuff just disappeared. Games to get you to spend money and it appears each time the discounts decrease and the ammount you have to spend increases.

I hate their pop up ads on internet search engines. Plus I thought they only sold women’s stuff.

I wouldn't buy anything like that from them. I read your post and checked on AliExpress to see if they even sell anything that big. They did have several to appear in the search, but all of them shipped from the USA and didn't seem any cheaper than HF.

As already posted, these sites eliminate the middle man, but on something like a pressure washer I would much rather have a middle man. If there's something wrong with it, I'd much rather deal with the local HF than someone in China.

The only things I would buy off Ali are those that I know won't have to be returned. The fishing lures I buy from them are also available on Amazon, but I save 50%. It takes a month to get them, but so what. If they get lost, they refund my money and I try again. I limit all the purchases from there to small objects that will fit in the mailbox. I don't think I can go wrong with stuff like that, but dealing with a large item like a pressure washer could turn into a huge hassle.
