Went fishing this morning, river was white capping so I’m sitting in a ground blind this afternoon. Hope the blind is anchored down

Sitting in a shooting house in an old 9 acre row crop field in Barbour County. Saw six does this AM and a nice 3.5 year old 8 point. Spent midday putting in firebreaks.

What do yall think about this 30mph winds. Debating if it's worth going? You wont kill one sitting at the house watching a ballgame. You can stream a ballgame and watch it while you hunt. No telling what a deer might do. They eat and make babies whether the winds blowing or not. I'm in the woods, and even upped the challenge. I brought my bow. 😀

Been here in same spot since 9. Deer finally moving. Had 6 does. 2 small bucks come through. Buck briefly chased the does. Maybe that deer I saw this morning is still around

Well me and my daughter didn’t see anything but my dad killed his first deer in about 40 years…. I was so happy for him it wasn’t the biggest buck in the world but it had a set of horns and nuts… I know my mom is so proud of him and she is smiling down on him from heaven..
