I said it before that I’d be good with a 2 buck limit but I’m just one person and might be the only one that would be in favor of it. It doesnt matter if you make it 1 if you don’t have any means of enforcing it……Until we show we can enforce the 3 buck limit we already have and see what kind of a difference that makes then there’s no need to even begin to consider a limit of 2……This is why I anticipate that tags are in the near future….. You know dealing with out of state hunters shouldn’t really be all that hard now that I think about it……All you gotta do is keep raising the cost of the non-resident license until you get the number of non-residents back to what you want…..the ones left who are willing to pay $700 per year or whatever it may be…Can't let these coveted spots go for nothing you know........Maybe you could make an exception for non-resident landowners.... This is true but ask Mississippi about getting stupid with the prices for Louisiana hunters hunting there. Louisiana more then doubled the price of our of state fishing and hunting licenses on them. This was years ago. Didn’t take them long to back track that idea when they found out how many people from Mississippi hunt and fish in Louisiana. $700 would definitely get rid of me. Heck if we find the right place in or around Sonora Texas, we gone!! Only a $307 license and they have axis.
