So, how big of a transition is it from metal to wood if you make it into the majors A true hitter can hit with a broom handle if need be Ball jumps off Aluminum better. I think I've seen where it will travel about 15-20% more off Aluminum than wood. Sweet spot on wood is smaller too. Centering the ball up and jump off the material the bat is made of is two different things. Here's a good study on the subject , shows the ball comes off Aluminum 16.37% faster!
