Shootist I imagine that buck in the front ended up being pretty nice for this year. Hope you get the chance to put an arrow thru him . Got everything planted and looking forward to my first set next week. Looks like we have at least 2 on board for Whitetail Wranglers as a team name. Does anyone have other suggestions or do we all want to go with this one ?

WWs works for me. Since it looks like all of us hunt and hunt a little more than most we may have a shot at this thing. Everyone on team 1 usually kills all their does and all of them usually kill a buck too so if we can match that and one us luck up and shoot a big 10 or bigger we may take this thing.

Good luck Shootist and CHOOTEM or anyone else thats gonna hunt opening day. I won't be in a tree till Thursday so yall be sure to post up yalls kills to add to my level of anxiety. I'll probally shoot the first doe I see in range, well maybe.  Good luck fellas !!!!!!

 Well i had 2 does and this lil doe come out around 5:45. When they came in the field they were directly in my face and caught me by suprise. The lead doe didn't have a fawn so i decided to shoot her. This one and the other doe stayed right in front of me while they other doe fed across the field. By the time i could stand for a shot the lead doe was 45 yards out. When i drew the other 2 were maybe twenty yards behind her. I guess while concentrating on my peep these 2 ran to the other one. When i shot the lil one ran directlly in front of the lead doe and put the brakes on. Arrow hit her right in the neck under the jaw line. At first i thought i had shot through the doe and hit it.Crazy to say the least but i guess it happens. Sure will eat good. Anyway it is a doe so 5points for us.
