Back in the late seventies running dogs in Greene co. I had an 8 pt almost bury me in a pine thicket. He went home after a 00 buckshot. Kinda miss those days.

I have my dad’s old 308 pump rifle in the safe. Not saying the video is a 308, but just reminds me of his

Oh yes, the good old days. Back when folks turned their dogs loose on someone else’s property and shot from the road. Then let their dogs run free cause they couldn’t catch them. I’m sure glad they put a stop to that crap.

I watched that full video about a week ago. I think it was either this year or last. They are hunting in the northeast if I recall correctly.

Remington Gamemaster 760 is a solid dependable gun. They made over a million between 1951 and 1981.
Said to be good for that second or running shot. I still have mine in 30-06. PA is full of them.

Never had a problem catching dogs. Used to hunt Weyerhaeuser land for free. US steel land was free to hunt. The good days
