Has anyone shopped Kubota tractors lately? Looking at a 70hp cab tractor before the end of the year. Is there any difference in price from dealer to dealer or is it all the same? I am in North Alabama but travel all over the state for work. Long for tractor no front end loader and a 10ft dual spindle bushhog.
Also which bushhog is best? Mainly cleaning up around fields nothing to rough.

Buying new. It’s service after the sale that’s important. Even in 5-6 or more years. Buying and getting service or parts from the same parking lot means a lot to me. As far as pricing I think it depends on the folks wanting to worry about overhead/commission or selling a tractor. Deal and walk away at least once or twice.

I have a dozer, skid steer, and backhoe all sitting here no cows to put out hay for so it will be used for bushhogginng so the less hanging on the front the better.

You need to check out the one that was in the classifieds for sale. M7040 in nearly new condition. I don't recall seeing that it ever sold.

I bought mine from Boykin Tractor in Rainsville. They were my local dealer and are good people. I haven't had any problems with any of the equipment that I've purchased there and have never had any problems getting in for service. I would consider getting one with a loader. Would also consider getting one with a 3rd function and add a grapple. I got one on a whim after seeing my father in law had one. It's like 4wd on a truck. Once you have one with it, you won't have another one without it. The land pride medium duty brush cutters a seem to be worth the money too.

Here is my suggestion.
Go to the websites of different Kubota dealers that you are willing to buy from and get quotes on exactly what you want, including the equipment. If the dealer that you would prefer to use isn't the lowest, I would pay them a visit with a printout of the lowest quote in my pocket. I would explain to them that you really want to buy from them but you have lower quote(s) from other dealers. I would keep that quote in my pocket unless I absolutely had to pull it out. If they are willing to deal and you show them that quote, they most likely are gonna match it or beat it by just a few bucks.
But.. as some have already mentioned, I would definitely consider the service after sell aspect when making the final decision.

You can find some tractors with 100-200hrs on them for around half price. Usually smaller tractors but you might happen up on a 70hp

I bought mine from Boykin in rainsville. Hauled my John Deere over to fort Payne after Scottsboro trigreen had screwed me over. Trigreen in Fort Payne raped me. No help from them. Stopped at Boykins they sold it for me and I bought a new m5660 and I love it. You could not give me a John Deere . I got a Buddy with a cabbed 70 hp Kubota and he loves it. I run a John Deere 5075 on a duck farm and I like it ok. But if I were buying again it would be the Kubota. That is just my experience. They never would call me from John Deere I even called corporate worst experience I ever had with a company

I know it is a long way from you but South Al. Kubota in Monroeville earned my business by getting parts in a timely fashion, their parts girl is awesome as well as JP a salesman I drive by several dealerships to get to them, the Parrish Group down here is a joke

I emailed almost every Kubota dealer in the state when I was shopping. Told them exactly what I wanted. Had a few phone conversations and in the end it was Beshears Kubota in Oxford that gave me the best deal.

Haven't dealt with them yet, but Southern Kubota and Rental (maybe wrong name) in Monroeville beat a price quote I got from Capital tractor. I have heard others complain about different issue with Capital Tractor.

Choose on parts/service for the best long term value. If you have to haul it 4 hours to the dealer you’ve just lost that money you saved.
