Across the road this morning, had deer I. The pasture when I drove in. They burned the clearcut behind me yesterday and last night. Cams had deer at the feeder with the fire burning in the background.

In the woods in Bibb. Got in late about 730 planning on sitting to lunch. We will see what happens. Got Jr. sitting about 5 yards from me watching the opposite ridge.

Misjudged the distance. Was bout 300 instead of the 200 I thought. May have hit in leg despite him mule kicking. Called a dog in and will track later this evening

Seen 1 three point and a bobcat. In new spot high n pine overlooking open hilly pine meadow surrounded by pines and some hardwoods

The time between Christmas and the first week of January was the time to be there. Good luck!

Didn’t see one this morning. When a was loading up at the truck a stud was in the back of a silver Tacoma going down the road. They were moving just not in the right spot for me lol

Back in the same spot as yesterday afternoon…no deer seen this morning between my dad and I. The deer are in a really rut-spooky phase right now at our place!! Nearly 100% nocturnal, but it’s time for a good one to be on his feet in the daylight
