I pay for Netflix $17 a peacock $6 I think . All the rest my neighbors an I share passwords .
Sharing passwords is stealing.
Lots of folks do it. And while it is technically wrong (as you pointed out), it seems like they would make just as much and maybe even more if they lowered the prices and more people subscribed.
If you have 10 people paying $30 a month but only 2 people paying $100 a month and sharing their passwords, then there is $100 that the company is missing out on and I do not know how they can enforce not sharing it especially in a close geographical range.

That's accurate. But I think there are lots who don't see it that way.
They should probably lock it in to the specific subscribers internet access then because there are some that let you travel with it and watch from your phone, tablet or laptop which means that it would be dang hard to determine that anyone else was using it other than the subscriber.
And, yes, there are tons of people using someone else's access.
