He thinks he’s smarter than Saban. Saban left college after being there for years, Old Bill thinks he can show Saban how it’s done today. When has he ever said or referenced any of the above? you can be sure he talked to Saban at length about the college game before he pursued the job Talking to Saban before taking the job has nothing to do with his statement above.

In the NFL he had salary caps and players union. He will have more freedom and less restraints in college. He will probably do well if UNC can get him enough NIL money.
