SMU is in the same position and has the same argument as Miami last week for the CFP rankings. Will the Committee use their senses handle SMU the same way they did Miami. Common sense should say Yes. SMU has not beat a Top 25 team all season and last night was their chance. SMU failed the test and that is exactly the reason SMU should be left out of the CFP Playoffs. SMU does not belong in it will their SOS being very weak to go along with no Top 25 wins. The Committee has said all of this will be considered and I think that is the reason SMU will be left out and a lot of people will be crying just like FSU and a lot of other Bama haters were too. I hope you are right just so I will be more interested in the playoffs and don’t have to pull for GA lol.
