Now, I'll agree about qb's and being taken care of by the NFL, but that stuff doesn't need to be in the game anymore. The qb is down not where he slides to, but where he starts his slide. The one I don't like is Mahomes, he starts to go out of bounds, then fakes the defender and goes down the side lines. The defender lets up, and he keeps going. If he starts that, he should be down, the defender would have a flag thrown if he hits him close to the sideline.

Yeah Mahomes has done that crap several times. Someone needs to blow him up whether he goes out or not just to teach him a lesson, but the refs are in his pocket I guess. As far as the Lawrence hit, I think because he was so close to the first down the dude hit him to keep from getting it maybe. Not condoning it, but sliding right at the first down marker is a tough call.
